Our dedicated team is lead by James, Ben and Sam Whittaker as owners and directors. The team is made up of project managers, office staff, licenced electricians and plumbers, and an extensive apprenticeship program. The team is supported by a strong base of sub contractors, comprising of experienced tradesmen and plant operators to ensure we have the right skills set for every project.
We constantly up skill and develop the capabilities of all our employees to create a team that can deliver projects with the highest quality outcome.
The successful combination of the right staff, has allowed us to engage in a broad range of projects in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors for a range of clients from private to local government.
James Whittaker
DIRECTOR OF WHITTAKER CIVIL INFRASTRUCTURE
James has a trade background in residential construction and extensive skills and experience in multi-disciplinary projects from civil infrastructure through to building construction. This experience has enabled Whittaker Civil to take on a broad range of projects.
James has strong leadership and communication skills which ensures that the client and the Whittaker Civil team work together to get the job done, no matter what challenges the weather may throw at them. Like his two brothers, James is a problem solver, as well as proactive and sensitive to the client’s needs.
Ben Whittaker

A licensed plumber, drainer and gas fitter by trade, Ben specialises in high-end residential construction. He applies the same skill and attention-to-detail across all areas of the business. Whether it be preparing a quotation for a 5 bathroom mansion or installing a Gross Pollutant Trap for a Council, attention-to-detail is an uncompromising value of Ben’s that echos throughout the business.
Ben also brings very well developed plumbing and project management skills to the Whittaker Civil business, and with his two brothers, is able to apply extensive trade based knowledge to complex and broad based projects.
Ben’s focus is on project set up, administration, trouble shooting and client interface.
Sam Whittaker

Sam has a strong trade base from which he has built a very solid, electrical business focused initially on the residential and commercial market sectors.
As a licensed electrician with many years of profitable project delivery and business development experience, Sam is well placed to lead the Whittaker Civil Infrastructure business into the electrical infrastructure sector of the market. He takes the lead on projects with a strong electrical component and provides in-house support for civil projects as required.
Sam’s relentless work ethic ensures that jobs are completed on time and (where humanly possible) on budget regardless of the circumstances.
Chris Roberts
Project manager
Formerly a Facilities Manager with large government and private property managers, Chris brings strong project management and administrative skills to the Whittaker Civil Infrastructure business.
With the 3 directors of the business heavily involved in project execution, Chris provides programs, systems and routines to maximise project efficiency and ensure our clients’ needs are constantly and consistently addressed.
